Screen Fabrics are an extremely popular commercial choice. The view to the outside that the fabrics offer make for a practical and neat solution while controlling heat and glare. A good specification would pair the correct product to the correct aspect of a building. North and west facades that receive direct sun light should be specified with denser performance fabrics (a 1or 3% fabric) while atriums or South Facing aspects can take advantage of a 10% fabric that maximises views.
Available on an array of hardware systems ranging from 32mm diameter tubes to heavy duty 55mm systems. The Blind is often controlled by a geared chain mechanism on the side of blind but products have various motorised solutions (220V and battery/solar) too
